Informative Excerpts from the Statutes of the Nordic Society Prague

The Society is a voluntary, independent, non-political associations of friends of the North European countries, i.e. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in Czech Republic.

The aim and purpose of the Society is in particular:

To promote a deeper understanding of the North European countries, especially their languages, cultures, social interests, economical, political and welfare systems, the way of live of their citizens for the Czech public.
To promote the advancement of cultural relations between Czech Republic and the North European, countries.
To promote and further personal contacts and friend relation between peoples of Czech and Nordic countries.
To maintain, establish contacts and enhance relations with friends of Czech republic and their organizations in the North European countries.
To cooperate with other organizations with similar orientations.
